Couples Therapy
Couples therapy can be helpful for all types of relationships whether you are married, cohabiting or not living together. It aims to help you to develop insight into the relationship, support improved communication and help resolve issues within the relationship.
Although couples therapy is generally suited for couples, it can also be helpful if one partner is unwilling or reluctant to attend sessions and for you to attend individually to start with. Utilising this type of approach, the therapist or psychologist will mostly focus on helping the relationship and there may also be times when the difficulties of individuals within the relationship need to be addressed too.
